Biography

 

Marilyn has been singing professional since the age of 16.  She has performed in Melbourne, Sydney and extensively through Western Australia.  Including television and live radio.  Marilyn has fronted many bands in Perth (FEVER, Black Velvet, Emerald City, Crossroads) and supported acts such as Kate Cebrano, Peter Blakely, Glen Shorrock, Australian Doors, Bjorn Again and many more.  

 

Her repertoire includes songs from all eras and music styles, she is versatile and has a dynamic and powerful voice.  She has won many awards and competitions and at the age of 16 recorded an album with local producers 'Hip Kat Records', the first song released 'Moving On' peaked at number 2 on the Australian Country Charts, the second song 'Break it Down' peaked at number 3… not bad for a local girl with no formal training!
